LGV Class I (Category C+E – Articulated Vehicles)
LGV Class I drivers are able to drive goods vehicles over 3500kgs with a trailer over 750kgs. You will need to be qualified for Cateogry C+E (Class I) jobs.

LGV Class II (Category C – All Rigid Vehicles)
LGV Class II drivers are able to drive goods vehicles over 3500kgs this licence will enable successful candidates to drive any rigid vehicle with a small trailer. You will need to be qualified for Category C (Class II) jobs.

7.5 Tonne Drivers (CAT C1)
A 7.5 Tonne vehicle is a medium sized lorry with a maximum authorised mass (MAM) of at least 4 tonnes. The vehicle is at least 5 metres in length and is capable of 80 km/h (50 mph) with a closed box cargo compartment at least as wide and as high as the cab and small trailor up to 750kg.

HIABs are vehicles that are attached with a crane and will include brick cranes, grabs and lifting cranes. To be able to apply for a HIAB job, you must be qualified.

FLT stands for Fork-lift truck. FLT Jobs will include the lifting and moving of goods using a fork-lift truck in areas such as store rooms or warehouses.

Reach Small & designed for small aisles, can extend to reach loads
Rough terrain Used on construction sites or other sites that have uneven ground.

ADR drivers will undertake the transport of dangerous goods. These dangerous goods will include explosive, radioactive, pressurised and toxic materials.

If the transport job you are applying for has vehicles fitted with DigiCard (Digital Tacograph Cards) units; you will need to have a DigiCard.

Driver CPC
The Driver CPC is for LGV and PCV drivers who drive professionally throughout the UK. Driver CPC has been developed as a requirement of the EU Directive 2003/59, which is designed to improve the knowledge and skills of professional LGV and PCV drivers throughout their working life.

Driver CPC Training
Courses run weekdays 9am to 5pm or Saturday 9am to 5pm.

Alternatively, you are able to have two consecutive evenings during the week at 5.30pm until 9pm.
